Payment Methods
We accept cash, check, and all major credit cards.
Insurance Coverage
Please contact your provider to verify how your plan compensates you for behavioral health services.
- Does my health insurance plan include behavioral health benefits?
- Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it and have I met it yet?
- Do I have a copay or coinsurance? If so, what is it?
- Does my plan limit how many sessions per calendar year I can have? If so, what is the limit?
- Is Genesis… A New Beginning an in-network or out-of-network provider?
Insurances Accepted
* Most, but not all our therapists are credentialed with the following insurance panels:
- Aetna
- BCBS (Not in network with Blue Home or Blue Local)
- Medicaid- (Partners, Vaya, Healthy Blue, Amerihealth Caritas, UHC Community Plan, Wellcare, Carolina Complete Health)
Rates
Private/Self Pay Rate
- Initial appointment and assessment: $250 (This assessment is required for all new clients.)
- Individual Counseling appointment: $150
- Group Counseling: $40 per group
Insurance Rates: (may vary depending on insurance credentialing, etc.)
- Initial appointment and assessment: $150-250 (average amount towards the deductible set by insurance unless a copay applies)
- Individual counseling appointment: $110-180 (average amount towards the deductible set by insurance unless a copay applies)
Other Billable Service Rates
- Late Cancel/No show fee: Service fee in full if no notice was given 24 hours in advance.
- Parent Consultation: If you are a parent and want to speak to the counselor regarding your minor child, you may ask to schedule a 30-minute consult for a fee of $75. At times, therapist may offer a ten-minute update within the child’s session but be prepared to schedule a 30-minute consult if deemed necessary by the therapist.
- Records Request: Emails, letters, etc. related to court issues are billed at $100.00 each.
Court Fees: Please review if you are going through any custody or other legal concerns.
- We abide by privileged communication laws and therefore will NOT disclose confidential information outside of legal/ethical guidelines. Also, we will only submit documents or appear per a court order.
- We will not choose sides in cases, so you are advised NOT to choose counseling as a means to gain any type of support of advantage in court (especially in custody cases).
- If we are called to court, we will bill at the rate of $1500 for each day subpoenaed.
Cancellation Policy
If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand. Otherwise, you may be charged for the full rate of the session. Three late cancelations or no shows may result in inability to schedule future appointments.
