Genesis… A New Beginning began in a small office in Albemarle in November of 2003 assisting DWI clients. Our goal was to assist clients in turning their destructive thought processes into more positive and productive thoughts that would subsequently lead them to more successful outcomes in life. We quickly saw that the need was much greater than our original vision and expanded into Cabarrus County in 2004.
As a result of the immense need in our local communities, our services quickly expanded into other areas of general Mental Health Therapy including services for anxiety and depression and children and youth services. We also offer services for Domestic Violence, Anger Management, Addiction Therapy, Conflict Resolution, Family Counseling, and Sex Offender Therapy. Today, we are in 5 cities within Piedmont N.C. and offer caring person-centered therapy. Genesis…A New Beginning considers it a privilege to work with the residents of the counties we serve and desire to see all people live life free of the many problems that Mental Health issues can bring. We have an incredible staff that cares for their clients and offers the best services available anywhere. Our goal is to touch lives and assist each person in walking out of destructive life patterns into a life of happiness and peace. Genesis…A New Beginning is a Faith Based organization that operates by the principles of integrity and care toward all people, while providing clinically sound therapy practices by our licensed and certified clinicians.
